About IWGT
IWGT is the trading name of OFZA Fintech Virtual Asset Exchange Services LLC, a Broker-Dealer licensed by Dubai's Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (licence VL/24/12/002). We buy USDT from clients and pay AED or USD to their own bank account.
What we do
We run one service: large USDT sales settled by bank wire. A client sells from around 100,000 USDT; the all-in spread is 0.08% to 0.40% depending on size and is published openly on our main page. AED settles by UAEFTS the same business day an approved account trades; USD goes by SWIFT in 2 to 5 business days.
We do not run an exchange, do not hold client balances between trades, and do not sell USDT to clients — the desk works in one direction.
How we work
- Every trade has a written quote and a named dealer on the confirmation.
- Fiat settles only to an account in the client's own name, registered during onboarding.
- Deposit instructions appear only inside the client portal, never in a chat or an email attachment.

Our former name and address
Until 30 September 2026 the desk traded as Meridian OTC at meridian-otc.com. Since 1 October 2026 it operates as IWGT at iwgt.ae, with the client portal at portal.iwgt.ae. We no longer control the old domain: anything that appears there after that date is not ours. How to tell our channels from copies is on the verification page.
Office and contact
Office 21C13, i-Rise Tower, Al Barsha Heights, Dubai, UAE. Dealing hours Sunday to Thursday, 09:00–18:00 GST. The desk answers in writing: [email protected] or @meridian_otc. Deals are arranged online and in writing.
Why we publish guides
Our guides exist because clients ask the same questions before their first trade: is this legal, what does it cost, how does the money arrive. We write the answers the way we answer them at the desk, reviewed by the Head of Dealing — see our editorial policy.
